Hello, my name is Madeleine. This is my art blog where I post scribbles and things that inspire me.

A typical text conversation with my mum.

Mum: Drew wants to bake how you fixed

Me: What you just said made no sense

Mum: I am your mum and I reserve the right to string sentences as I see fit

Me: What? I'm getting nothing. You're speaking a different language. (ok I'm trolling here)

Mum: What do you mean

Me: What was that? Are you even familiar with the English language? (still trolling)

Me: Seriously I'm trying to work out how Drew can bake 'how you fixed'. Maybe a cake with the words 'how you fixed' written in icing? Anyway, even if he could, what would be the significance of it? It boggles the mind.

Mum: Simply how are you fixed to assist him in baking his undertaking.

Me: w-what? What!? Do you even read what you're saying before you send it?

Mum: Alex has no trouble you have been away from home too long

Me: I asked Alex to translate. I can help Drew bake. What's he want to make?

Mum: Brownies.
